RedDog Art Gallery presents First Friday dancing!! Dancing is located on the second story in the Unleashed Art Center and dance studio from 7 to 10 pm. This event is hosted by Triad Dance as seen on the second season of TLC's My Big Fat Fabulous Life!!
We are growing a friendly dance group that loves the blues and more! Please join us!! This monthly dance party occurs EVERY 1st Friday during Gallery Hop and encourages freestyle couple dancing. We welcome a playful, improvisational fusion of different dance styles including, free styling, blues, tango, swing,urban ballroom and more.
What ever your dance background....the emphasis here is on fun, freestyle expression with your partner, danced to various styles of soulful,heart thumping, movement inspiring music( including blues, soul, smooth jazz, modern and international).
Bring all your dance experience with you; no matter your background or skill level,this is for you!

We are located downtown Winston Salem on the corner of 7th and Liberty. The AFAS Building is a 3 story silver and red building. Red Dog Art Gallery is on the first floor. We are on the Second Floor of the building in the Unleashed Art Center and dance studio.
About Triad Dance:
National act and movement artist Jacob Felder is a classically trained dancer, teacher,choreographer and performing artist. He also specializes in acro yoga, circus acrobatics and is a professional mime. (www.the-mime.com)Jacob has been teaching dance nationally for over 25 years and has trained extensively in over 20 different dance styles including ballroom, Latin, tango,swing and more. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a lifetime mastery of the movement arts.
Rebecca Rose has been serving the dance community by teaching and organizing dance events and classes in the Triad for the past two years. Her dance training includes 11 years under Jacob and previous training in Latin dance, belly dance, and hip hop.
With this broad variety of dance training Rebecca and Jacob personally enjoy dancing a fusion of styles to blues music and beyond. Their teaching style is fun and attainable. The focus is on musicality and connection vs standardized patterns.This specialization in breaking down the body mechanics of dance and partner communication makes the complicated simple.
