Biography

Helen is a self-taught photographer and digital manipulator, with interests mainly in the forms and details of nature, the colors and
shapes in nature, reflections, sunlight and shadows. Her digital drawings sometimes begin with a photograph which she alters beyond recognition, or sometimes begin with a blank canvas and a restless mouse. Helen has won numerous awards in juried art shows. Her work can be seen at various art galleries in Winston-Salem.
