Biography

Artist Bio:
I am an artist that specializes in painting abstracts, landscapes, and nature inspired pieces. While painting is my specialty, I love learning new techniques and working with different forms of art. Even as a young child, I have always had a strong interest in art. I grew up in a close-knit family with strong support and creative influence. With influence and support from both of my parents, my interest has grown into a strong passion that I will continue to work.

I have taught art full time, working with pre-k through eighth grade. Currently, I am living and working out of Winston-Salem, NC.

Artist Statement:
The majority of my artwork is inspired by traditional styles and techniques, which are applied to landscape and organic subject matter. These subjects are stimulated from my everyday surroundings. Color is what draws me into my subjects and the unique beauty each scene provides motivates me to create my paintings. Even as a young child, I have always had a strong interest in art. With influence and support from both of my parents, my interest has grown into a strong passion that I will continue to work.
