Donald Sawyer Jr

Don is professional artist, father, grandfather, Winston- Salem N.C. based artist. He enjoys painting, drawing, while dabbling in installation art. Married thirty- five to his lovely wife Latonya, Don has a Bachelor of Arts in art, from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Fine Arts from Western- Carolina University. Don creates compositions on subjects matter such as, Police Violence, Human Trafficking, and Homelessness. Which, are subjects close to his heart. He enjoys researching artist and is quite fond Kerry James Marshall, Henry Taylor, and most recent Willie Cole.
