Biography

Alice Jette is an artist and illustrator living in Winston Salem, NC.
Seeing and creating art has always been an important part of her life and how she sees the world around her.
Spending time in nature inspires the works she creates. She believes that taking the time to be in nature is invaluable to her happiness, energy and creativity. She loves to see how plants can create an emotion and atmosphere of their own just like the people she draws.
Embroidery, watercolor, and colored pencil are her favorite mediums and her work is heavily inspired by folk art from many cultures.
