Biography

The author, Dale R. Pfeiffer, was introduced to ancient history, archaeology, and numismatic news through an inspiring junior high history teacher; later in college, Dale earned a B. A. degree in Bible and History. Later in life Dale desired to learn about his family roots, so he purchased a subscription on ancestry.com. There Dale discovered that he was a direct descendant of Pfeiffer homesteaders in Rotensol, Germany, and that one, Pfeiffer von Pfeifferberg, was knighted in Austria where Dale believes the surname originated. This love of ancient history and the experience gained while chronicling his family roots compelled Mr. Pfeiffer to author, The Pfeifferberg Chronicles, an historical novel trilogy
