Biography

I started using art for emotional expression at a young age. I am originally from Atlanta, but grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. I spent 10 years inn Boone, NC, where I completed a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy. I work as an artist-therapist and have an office in the artivity studios at the N. Liberty Street building for AFAS.
My favorite forms of art are acrylic painting and mixed media. I try to use as many found objects as possible, breathing new life into things considered trash.
