Biography

Nathaniel Quinn’s paintings create an expansive imaginary world: a merger of nature and imagination, drawing upon worlds spanning from the core layers of the earth to the outer reaches of space.

Quinn’s paintings are an entrancing web of information: pulling the viewer in, inviting them to play amidst their fluctuating expansive universe of complex spaces.

“My work has a sense of play, a fantastic journey-a chaotic romp through multiple environments, worlds and spaces, where the possibilities, futures, adventures and experiences are endless, and carefree. I've always been playing and creating and I encourage the viewer to swim and play in my paintings as well.”

Quinn exhibits nationally and internationally and curates group painting exhibits. He has participated in benefit auctions at Philips De Prury Auction House. Quinn has a painting degree from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Masters Degree in Painting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
