Biography

I attended East Carolina Art School and acquired a BFA in painting and a minor in ceramics.
The early part of my life I painted watercolors and sold these at Artsplosure street shows in Raleigh. After some success and sales, I had children and raised them while owning and operating a gallery/framing business. Consequently, I put my art aside for quite sometime. Being around art and artists and developing skills in framing and wood materials, I have made a resurgence in creating birdhouses and elegant boxes. I also have been having a lot of fun with art quilting, which I hope to build a body of work to exhibit in the future.
