Biography

My goal is to reveal the variety and hidden beauty of wood. I especially like to show the contrasting colors of wood combinations and seek interesting patterns in the forms of wood. I use many sources of wood, frequently local trees that were cut for landscaping or after storm damage. Also, I use waste wood from fine furniture makers. I love the infinite combinations possible in making serving trays, bottle stoppers, pens and tables.
