Biography

I just like to create and to challenge myself to improve my skill set so I can better share my visions with others.

My images are typically surrealistic or allegorical in nature.

My professional background is rooted in design work and custom signs. I owned and operated a custom sign shop, SignChic. I was the chick making the signs!

Then I sold it to push myself in other directions to realize what else I am capable of.

I am an adult graduate of Guilford College and earned my degree in secondary education with a focus on social studies and art. As a result, most of my work holds a spiritual or historical element or concept.

Currently, I am just following my creative adventures daily. I'm over at Studios 625 on Trade St. experimenting with paint and color. I am active in AAWS and was recently juried into their show, Vistas (Feb. 2015).

I've been married forever. We have one Awesome Kid and two pseudo-dogs that are rescue chihuahua like creatures.
