Biography
Jean McDowall has been drawing animals as long as she can remember, but her formal art training only began in 2008 when she left her full time marketing position with Novant Health. After studying with the late Frank Rowland, she opened a studio at 560 North Trade Street where she accepts commissioned paintings of animals of all sorts and continues her art studies with Patty Bailey Sheets. Jean is a member of the Downtown Arts District Association and Her works are featured at Noble’s Grill and at Imagine Flowers.
