Biography

I have been woodturning for over 15 years. My work is creative and functional.

At Sawtooth School for Visual Arts. I helped start their woodturning program and taught for 3 years. I’m a member of the AAW, American Association of Woodturners and Treasurer of PTWA, Piedmont Triad Woodturners Association.

My work includes bowls, pens, wine stoppers, unique cutting boards, hollow forms, pepper mills, ice cream scoops, candle holders, beer openers, tops, ring holders, etc.

I create custom wooden pieces that are personalized and memorable for businesses, non-profits, and individuals.

Most of the wood I use is local (cherry, oak, maple, walnut, others) and imported and exotic wood from around the world.

My turnings can be found at the Red Dog Gallery, Sawtooth Shop, Green Hill Center for the Arts, Southwinds Gallery, DADA, Little River Gallery and at local craft shows.
