Biography

Karen's earliest memories are of drawing and painting; always wanting to become an artist. Karen has worked with a wide variety of mediums while teaching and painting. She is enjoying working with oil on representational subjects and acrylics/mixed media on abstracts. Her paintings are in private and public collections in the United States, Great Britain and South America.

Karen is teaching oil lessons and various workshops. She has recently started teaching a beginner oil class at Iggy's Art Supply Store, 6311-C Stadium Dr., Clemmons, NC (336) 766-6211. She teaches an intermediate oil class at her home studio in Clemmons, NC. The rest of her week is dedicated to teaching children Art in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System.
