Biography

I've always been a nostalgic person and have been called an old soul more times than I can count—and I'm perfectly okay with that. I'm always here for a good story. More often than not, you'll find me talking to the oldest person in the room, asking them about their favorite memory.

I've always been fascinated by the way a photograph can preserve not only what we see, but what we feel. Whether I'm documenting a quiet landscape, an overlooked detail, or a meaningful moment, I'm always searching for the emotion behind the image. That's probably why candids have always been my favorite—they have a way of telling the truth without trying too hard.

Growing up in a small town in eastern North Carolina taught me to appreciate the beauty in ordinary places and pay attention to the passing of time. My work is inspired by memory, connection, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. I hope my photographs encourage people to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with something familiar within themselves.
