Biography

My name is Kiesha Madkins; lovingly known by God as Kueen. I am from Virginia but now reside in the Greensboro, High Point area. I have been doing art off and on since childhood (sketching and writing mostly). Poetry is my base but right before the pandemic, I was drawn to prophetic art. I loved how someone could go from nothing to something beautiful all in a moment of hearing from heaven. I wanted to know that level of freedom. I wanted to experience that flow from heaven's gates to my fingertips. Holy Spirit had me in a season of sharpening my vision. He then shared to scribe visually. So I dived in head first with sketching, painting and photography. I wanted to see and learn God as Creator, the first way He introduced Himself in scripture. I know and feel that this is one major way He has blessed me in the earth to be a reflection of the beauty art gives just as He did with painting the earth.

So, I started sketching what I would see or how something would inspire something slightly new. I've learned how to create colors as to make the piece more unique and sought not to copy anyone else. I love the realism life presents. There is beauty in simplicity. My art seeks to bring out the beauty of a single moment of peace, love, beauty and just being free. Each piece is a direct inspiration from Holy Spirit, in that, He shows me something no one else sees. My art celebrates the beauty of being a queen. Art heals and t hat is one way I can use one of my gifts to bless the soul of man. It also encourages others to be free and unique and original.

So, my growth and journey as an artist is one of the piece being cool itself but also proving that God will use anyone to bring forth new and for such a time as now. We are all broken beautiful vessels. This is the lane I chose to fly in while sparking a flame for others to be who they are called to be freely. We each are living epistles. This is my story.
