AFAS ARTrepreneur’s Workshop Series Announced

Calling all Artists – Learn more about turning your creative passion into a profession!  RSVP for our FREE event now!

Your notepads were always filled with doodles. You made coffee at midnight so you could paint until dawn. You started dancing like no one was watching -- before that was “a thing.”  If any of these sound familiar, YOU just may be an aspiring ARTrepreneur -- and the new AFAS ARTrepreneur Workshop Series is for you!

AFAS presents an artist workshop series designed to help recently established and aspiring artists learn more about the business fundamentals that are important for a career as an artist. Whether it’s learning how to set up a small business, understanding legal implications and trademark rules, or developing your marketing and social media efforts, we want to find out what information will help you succeed.

Our FREE workshop series is open to artists from across the community.

Our first introductory workshop / networking session will take place on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the AFAS Board Room, located Downtown Winston-Salem at 630 N. Liberty Street – Third Floor.  During this time, participants will have the opportunity to connect with other local artists and professionals who share a creative passion. As part of our introductory session, we invite you to share your learning needs and provide feedback to help us develop our workshop series.

Following this initial networking and idea session, AFAS will hold a quarterly workshop on a topic of interest (based on artist feedback received in the introductory session).

Please RSVP now for our ARTrepreneur Networking Workshop so we know to expect you, and come prepared to share your ideas!

Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, March 22nd!
