I'm a stay at home mother of four, Artist, who has changed mediums from oil painting to textiles.  I made the change to fabric art because it was something my children could enjoy as well.  Seeing them excited about something I have handcrafted and something they could wear or play with gives me instant pleasure or gratification.  I also find much joy in having the older children help out in the assembly and seeing their excitement when giving a hand made item to a teacher or relative at gift giving occasions.  I often try to use new, gently used and vintage fabrics to create these one of a kind treasures.  I am currently selling on Etsy and at an Emporium booth in Salisbury,NC. My booth time will end in January so I will be full time on Etsy.
