Biography

I am a recent transplant to Winston-Salem, originally from the foothills of South Carolina. My recent works in acrylic and pen/pencil are an exploration of our relationships with animals and how we perceive them. The larger acrylics are representative of their innocence, while the smaller pieces show a darker side to both predator and prey. Having lost a lot of weight by adopting a vegan diet, the art is reflective of a larger personal struggle with what I personally choose to, or choose not to, consume
