| Short Bio | I started painting pet
portraits while I was competing in Dog Shows in Delaware over 20
years ago. At that time I worked in oils, then acrylics.
Most of my work is now in watercolor, and subjects range from
floral portraits to landscapes, with a few abstracts thrown in.
I took part in and organized outdoor art festivals in the
Mid-Atlantic area. Since moving to Winston-Salem I've been teaching watercolor and acrylic, first at the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts and now at Forsyth Tech Community College. Over the years, my students have become friends as we've moved outside the classroom on paint-outs, trips to art exhibits, and more. In the fall of 2008 I began organizing art sales events for a group known as artistic Synergy. |
